At First Baptist, we encourage spiritual
formation in numerous ways. In fact, we hope that everything we do helps people
to grow in faith, whether they are participating in worship, group experiences,
caring relationships, assisting with the work of our congregation or helping
people outside our walls.
One of the best ways to grow in faith – to make progress in your spiritual
journey - is in small group experiences which allow participants to really get
to know each other so that they can support and encourage one another – and be
accountable to each other.
This happens in various groups in our congregation, although not all of them are
small! These include Bible study groups that meet on Sunday mornings, groups
that focus on mission or ministry opportunities, planning or leadership groups,
choirs, and committees that assist with congregational life.
We have a variety of adult classes that meet for traditional Sunday Bible study
