Imagine, for a moment, the following: college students playing disc golf while talking about what life is all about, 'Twenty Somethings' leading a mission trip to Africa, young professionals discussing faith and world events at an outdoor concert, graduate students rock climbing and sharing their faith stories, co-workers meeting at a museum to explore how God is at work in art, 'Thirty Somethings' playing hide and go seek on a retreat, college roommates serving the people of Chattanooga as a way to unwind.

Sound Strange? Not to us. We call this Church!

FUSION means bringing College and Twenty Somethings together to be an active, faithful part of the Body of Christ at First Baptist. The words of Micah, the Old Testament prophet, informs our ministry goals: “And what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God.”

Speaking of fusing faith and action, we are active! Whether its working with Habitat for Humanity, camping and mountain biking, studying scripture, or learning how to play the guitar and lead Worship, we are striving to be doers of the Word and not just hearers only.
